Beginner Fashion Sewing Series
Ready to start sewing your own clothing? This four-part series is the perfect place to begin. Designed for complete beginners, it walks you step-by-step through the fundamentals of garment construction using the Palmer/Pletsch Learn to Sew method — a proven, technique-first approach to building real sewing skills.
Each of the five 4-hour sessions pairs a project with focused technique practice. You'll build a personal sample notebook as you go — swatches of the techniques you learn, kept as a reference you can return to long after the class ends. Then you'll apply those same techniques to a finished garment:
Each class builds on skills from the one before, so by the end you'll walk away with essential construction techniques, a growing sample notebook to reference for future projects, and four handmade garments you're proud to wear.
Taught by Rosie, Palmer/Pletsch Certified Sewing Instructor
